A concrete truck has smashed into a power pole in Mount Maunganui this morning, bringing down power lines and closing the road.
A police spokeswoman said the crash occurred on Valley Rd, between Tui St and McDowell St.
She said no one was injured in the crash and the driver
was out of the truck.
She said the power company had been alerted about the down power lines and the road would be closed until further notice.
