Police are seeking witnesses to yesterday's fatal Mount Maunganui crash.
A cyclist died after a collision with a truck at the intersection of Totara and Maui Sts.
Police were notified of the crash at 4.06pm.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene and took one person to Tauranga Hospital in
a critical condition.
The road was closed for more than four hours while police carried out a scene examination but was reopened overnight.
