Western Bay of Plenty police have this morning release the image of a vehicle related to an alleged hit and run incident at the weekend.
A 19-year-old man was stuck by a ute on Te Tumu Rd at 9pm on Saturday.
Police said the ute was a grey-black flat deck
heading east. The ute is described as a flat deck with a drum on the tray.
The picture show a ute travelling through Te Puke about the same time as the incident.
The pedestrian is currently in Waikato hospital with serious injuries. His condition is described as stable.
