Peter Williams collects $8000 for cancer

TVNZ newsreader Peter Williams has raised more than $8000 for cancer charity Look Good Feel Better after Saturday's Port of Tauranga Half.
Mr Williams decided to run to raise the funds in honour of his wife, Cecile, who died from cancer 15 years ago.
Donations have flowed in through his website, with the total standing at more than $8000.
He completed the run in 6 hours, 36 minutes and 55 seconds, with Look Good Feel Better general manager Yvonne Brownlie and a team of volunteers at the finish line to meet him.
