One person was trapped after a stock car crash at Baypark Speedway.
Fire Service northern communications centre shift manager Scott Osmond said firefighters were called to the speedway at Baypark Stadium about 5.40pm yesterday to reports of one person trapped in a stock car.
Firefighters had to cut the personout of the car, he said.
Mr Osmond said the person was transferred to an ambulance but he did not know the extent of the injuries received.
The fire service was at the scene for about 30 minutes, he said.
