One person was taken to hospital in a serious condition after a crash between a person and a car this evening.
A police media spokeswoman said police and ambulance were called to the intersection of Riverstone Drive and Orakei Place at 5.15pm.
She said the person was taken to Tauranga
Hospital in a serious condition.
There were no road blockages and police a currently speaking with the driver, she said.
