Primary Industries Minister Nathan Guy, Economic Development Minister Steven Joyce, Waiariki MP and Minister for Maori Development Te Ururoa Flavell and Tauranga MP and Transport Minister Simon Bridges.

Parliamentary heavyweights will be in Tauranga this afternoon to help discuss the Bay of Plenty's regional growth.

Economic Development Minister Steven Joyce, Primary Industries Minister Nathan Guy, Tauranga MP and Transport Minister Simon Bridges and Waiariki MP and Minister for Maori Development Te Ururoa Flavell will meet with local authorities at ASB Arena to launch the Bay of Plenty Regional Growth Study.

The study is expected to reach into all corners of the region, including Rotorua, Whakatane, and Tauranga by identifying opportunities and strengths within the region.

The study also marks a coming together between central and local Government.
