The new Tauriko Pak'nSave is opening next week, bringing 130 jobs to Tauranga.
The new supermarket has a floor space of 3380m2 and will be officially opened at 8.15am on Tuesday by Tauranga Mayor Stuart Crosby.
It is one of the businesses opening at the new Tauranga Crossing shopping centre.
Foodstuffs North Island general manager of property development Lindsay Rowles said there were lots of opportunities for growth in the area, and the new Tauriko store would help cater to the increasing demand this growth was placing on services.
"Tauranga Crossing is an exciting active retail space and we are confident the development is bringing some great services to the community."
