Tauranga journalist Annemarie Quill has been appointed editor of indulge magazine.
Quill took over the role editing the lifestyle and entertainment liftout, which is part of the Bay of Plenty Times Weekend newspaper, this week.
She replaces Julie Jacobson, who is returning to Wellington having completed the successful launch of the magazine.
Quill
was most recently editorial director of Sydney lifestyle publication LatteLife. In New Zealand, her work has appeared in newspapers such as the Bay of Plenty Times and The New Zealand Herald as well as a number of magazines.
She also worked as a journalist in London and has worked in public relations.
Quill is looking forward to delivering the same mix of local stories, style, beauty, and social pages in indulge.
"The magazine section of a weekend paper is what I always reach for first on a Saturday morning - something light yet entertaining. I know how precious time is for busy women so I am looking forward to making it a great read.
"We all deserve a bit of indulgence."
