The identity of a man accused of murdering a woman in Te Teko can now be revealed.
Te Hiiritanga Hill, 24, made his first High Court appearance in Tauranga today, before Justice Graham Lang via video link. Hill pleased not guilty to murder, through his lawyer Andrew Hill.
Thecharge relates to the death of a woman at a Te Teko address on June 12.
Name suppression lapsed for Hill during his court appearance, and no further suppression was sought.
Justice Lang remanded Hill in custody for a case review hearing on September 23.
