The motorcyclist critically injured in a crash with a car in Waihi yesterday is stable in hospital.
A Bay of Plenty District Health Board spokeswoman said the 30-year-old Waihi man was still recovering in Tauranga Hospital.
He was in a serious condition when he was airlifted to hospital from the
scene of the crash yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at the intersection of Waihi Beach Rd and Trig Rd about 3.50pm.
A Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter spokesperson said the rider had sustained multiple injuries, including injuries to his arm and shoulders.
