A person has been seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Tauranga today.

Police were called to the car and motorcycle crash at the intersection of Fraser St and 16th Ave at 2.15pm.

St John responded to the crash with one ambulance and transported a person to Tauranga Hospital in a serious condition.
