Minden crash: Car hits shops, emergency crews respond

A car has crashed into shops near Tauranga this morning.

A police spokesperson said emergency services were at the crash on Minden Rd.

“Two people are reported to have minor injuries.”

A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said two trucks were sent to the crash just off State Highway 2 at Minden about 10.40am.

“No one was trapped,” he said.

A reporter at the scene said the vehicle was currently inside the Bottle Craft store but there was also damage to the Te Puna Deli across the carpark.
