Papamoa Surf Life Saving Club won two gold medals and a bronze yesterday at the Youth World Interclub Champs in France.
The surf club tweeted and shared the results on facebook and congratulated the competitors.
Andrew Trembath took out the title in the Men's 200m Obstacle Swim and with BenJohnston, Mason Bryant and Jake Hales on his team the four men won the Men's 4x50m Obstacle Relay.
The Open athletes moved onto the beach with Kodi Harman picking up a bronze in the Men's Beach Sprint.
"Papamoa beach flyer Kodi Harman confirmed his status as one of the fastest men on sand anywhere on the planet with a bronze medal in the open men's beach sprint at the rescue 2014 interclub world championships in France overnight."
Former world champion Holly Moczydlowski of Mount Maunganui finished sixth in the women's final and Natalie Peat of Papamoa also finished sixth in a surf race final.
"The Papamoa youth team continued their amazing run, maintaining their overall lead after picking up two more gold medals on the first day of the pool competition.
"Maddi Kidd and Maia Bryant also helped the Papamoa cause, finishing eighth in the line-throw."
