A man has been flown to Waikato Hospital after suffering burns while getting rid of rubbish.
Tauranga's Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was called to Cape Runaway at 3pm yesterday and flew the man directly to hospital for specialist treatment after his rubbish fire blew up on him.
