A man who suffered serious injury to his leg while operating farm equipment has been flown to Tauranga Hospital.
Trustpower TECT Rescue helicopter flew the 60-year-old Waihau Bay man to Tauranga after being dispatched to his plight about 9.30pm.
The man lower leg was badly injured in the incident andit was decided to have him flown to Tauranga hospital because of the nature of the injury and the treatment required.
