A 63-year-old man is dead after the tractor he was driving rolled down a bank at his rural Tauranga property.
Police believe the accident happened last night, December 22.
The man was 63-year-old Dennis Francis Keenan of Omanawa.
A neighbour, the owner of the tractor, found the Mr Keenan atabout 8.30am this morning after he became concerned the deceased had not returned the tractor.
