A 28-year-old farmer has been airlifted to Tauranga hospital after rolling a quad bike on a farm south of Te Puke.
The injured man lost control of the quad bike while moving stock, causing the bike to roll backwards over a bank, resulting in head and back injuries.

Rescue Heliocopter was dispatched to the rural property and airlifted the man to Tauranga hospital in a serious condition.
