A lucky Pāpāmoa punter has won $333,333 in Lotto First Division.

The winning ticket was sold at Papamoa Superette and announced on last night's live Lotto draw.

A player from Ashburton also won $333,333 in Lotto First Division.

The big jackpot went to a lucky Powerball player from Central Otago who won the largest Powerball prize ever won in the South Island of $22.3 million.

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Central Otago. The total prize is made up of $22 million from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division.

Meanwhile, Strike Four rolled over on Wednesday night and will be $500,000 on Saturday.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.

Players can phone Lotto NZ on 0800 695 6886 if they want to inquire about the best way to claim a prize.
