Two Bay of Plenty Lotto player won over the weekend.

The region is celebrating after local Lotto players were among 11 nationwide winners in Lotto Second Division over the weekend.

One Tauranga player also pocketed an even bigger prize, thanks to Powerball.

In Saturday night’s live Lotto draw, 11 players each won $26,312 with Lotto Second Division.

But it was a Tauranga MyLotto player who enjoyed an extra boost, also winning Powerball Second Division to take their total winnings to $45,722, a Lotto spokesperson said.

The other winning ticket was sold at New World Te Puke.

Another win landed in Kawerau, with a Second Division ticket sold at New World.

Lotto NZ is encouraging anyone who purchased a ticket from the listed outlets to check their numbers as soon as possible via MyLotto, the MyLotto App, or in-store.
