I have read through the TECT proposal, it tells me winding up is not in the spirit of the trust deed.

However, having read that deed I cannot see why winding up the trust is not in the best interests of the trust beneficiaries. Would the trust please explain?

Based on the trust being worth $450 million and 49,000 beneficiaries - that is $9000 each, enough for a good solar system on 49,000 households.

That is, in my view, better than a future rebate that is not guaranteed and not bound by a single future electricity retailer.

Building the brand

Your page 10 headline, "Scolding Aussies nicely rounds off Ardern brand", speaks the truth in a nutshell (Opinion, February 22).

A truer word has seldom been written. Making a lot of noise with no positive result.

Builds the David and Goliath image.

The only thing wrong with that image is that Goliath wins.
