Letters to the editor: Judith Collins needs to keep speaking out

I viewed National Party leader Judith Collins' speech at the National Party Conference online and was extremely heartened to hear her views on separatist governance in our dear country.

There is a growing groundswell of concern and alarm at what, in my opinion, is an insidious development.

If Collins continually speaks out on this issue then I believe National will be guaranteed to regain parliamentary control at the next general election. (Abridged)

Charges for bigger bins

Tauranga City Council has agreed (reluctantly) to provide larger general rubbish
bins - if you prod it hard enough.

There will be an extra charge of course, which is yet to be disclosed.

I think that everyone should ask for one if necessary and demand no extra charge be applied.
