Letters to the editor: After council's Goddards move, where will people park?

I wonder if Tauranga City Council has thought where the people that use its library in the city and customer services office are going to park, when they move into the Goddards Centre.

I enjoy going to movies at the Rialto cinema in this centre and weekdays it is impossible to get a car park in the city.

If the council's site in Willow St is being developed, the car parking there will go.

After the movies, I will shop at Bethlehem, so going by bus is not an option from Ōmokoroa.

Near-empty Parliament a 'farce'

I too am in the camp which does not see the point in a physical Parliament.

No need to cling to old-school methods, we have so much technology at our disposal now.

A near-empty Parliament insisted upon by National and Act was a farce.

Get with the times, forget political differences and unite against this enemy which has the potential to infect anybody, regardless of their political persuasion.
