Noise ruining idyllic setting
I moved into a lovely unit in a pleasant street with a view of Mauao and cruise ships. There are a few businesses across the road who all go about their day doing whatever it is they do.
There is the port. A street over, being verybusy 24 hours a day seven days a week. Loading and unloading, keeping many people employed and making money for the country.
I have lovely neighbours, and we all keep our area clean and tidy and don't annoy each other. An idyllic place to live. I love it.
Until - along comes a gym. A very noisy, 5.30am wake-up to mid-evening boom, boom, boom, six days a week gym.
Who authorised the permit for this extremely inconsiderate business to operate across the road from residents who thought we lived in the most ideal spot in town?
I would like that person to visit here of a morning - to be enjoying your slumber only to be rudely woken up even before the birds have had a chance to chirp.
This business needs to move to a commercial only area.
