Spectators coming to the display from 4pm are encouraged to don costume of the era if they wish.
The weekend winds down on Sunday with an open day at the Cliff Rd clubrooms for pre-1983 vehicles - expect to see all sorts including motorcycles.
Mrs Hill says car enthusiasts may be surprised to learn of the various classifications within their club. There are a range of different eras that vehicles fall under, and many vehicle owners may be eligible to join their club.
March 30: Easter parade and display. Parade starts 10am at the Cliff Rd clubrooms (refer map) to Brown St, Cameron Rd, Ninth Ave, back down Cameron Rd, Elizabeth St, Devonport Rd to The Strand, Wharf St, Willow St for display in Spring St until 4pm.
March 31: from 10am is a relaxing, jazzy day at the clubrooms open to all, with a focus on pre-1983 vehicles. Bring a picnic.
