This Friday, people will gather across Tauranga to stand and remember the people who lost their lives in Gallipoli.

100 years since the start of the First World War, this Friday will mark 99 years since the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps landed at Gallipoli, Turkey.

There are a number of services running across the city and Tauranga City Council have advised some roads will be closed and park and ride services will be available.
