Preparations at Blake Park started on Sunday and every day has seen more of the festival stalls go up _ with the arrival of the Mexico-made beer steins this morning.
A total of 57 stalls will entice festival goers with not only their brews and barbecues, but also a selection of wine, schnapps, and for the first time in its 13 years of running _ cider.
Organiser David Mustard was looking forward to enjoying the event after a year of planning.
"I think they will all have a great time. There's a big selection of ale," he said.
The crowd will also be entertained with five bands from around the country, including local covers band, Sons of Beaches and Beatles tribute band, Abbey Road.
People are encouraged to dress up, with the winners of best costume announced on the main stage at 5pm.
Security has been stepped-up following the sale of party pills last year _ with an extra 15 security guards, bag and identification checks at the gates.
Only those wearing coloured wrist bands and using this year's souvenir 280ml beer stein will be able to buy alcohol.
