We're always looking for ways to improve your local daily newspaper and news website.
In yesterday's paper, we launched our new Monday Steamers fan page. It reflects the fact the Bay of Plenty Times is getting behind the Steamers this provincial rugby season.
Over the coming weeks, we will take you behind
the scenes and give you a better insight into Bay rugby, as it celebrates 100 years and as the Steamers compete in the ITM Cup.
We have already had fantastic feedback on the page. Thanks to everyone who contributed towards it.
Looking ahead, we are planning more new content for Monday's paper.
I'll keep you posted as we finalise the next addition.
In the meantime, one of the great things we offer you is the opportunity to write up your own news and take photos for publication in the Bay of Plenty Times.
There have been plenty of recent, great examples of what we call "citizen journalism". We have one such article on today's community page, A7.
So, if your club, organisation or school has anything interesting to share - email us at editor@bayofplentytimes.co.nz.
We'd love to hear from you.
