From the Editor - MasterChef

I'm not much of a cook but I have really enjoyed watching MasterChef on television.
Watching the talented amateur chefs take on difficult challenges and compete against each other has been entertaining and inspiring.
I have also enjoyed watching the judges cook for the contestants.
Last night's grand final was a cracker.
Nadia Lim took the title over Jax Hamilton in dramatic circumstances with the latter's desert going horribly wrong and falling apart at the last moment.
It was hard not to feel sorry for Jax as she proved herself to be a force to be reckoned with on the show.
The final was filmed in December and only Ms Lim's parents, siblings and fiance had been in on the secret since then.
In the Bay of Plenty Times on page 4 today, we carry an interview with Ms Lim.
I can't wait until the next series.
