The flowers mark the spot on 9th Ave where the woman had been crossing the road on her mobility scooter when she was struck yesterday.
The collision happened on before 12.30pm onThursday. The police said the woman died at the scene.
A police spokeswoman said the elderly woman had been identified but no name or further details would be released yet.
Today, flowers had been left on the pedestrian crossing as a tribute to the woman.
