The name of the farmer who died when he was hit by a car while moving stock has been released.
He was Ian Robert McKenzie, 75, of Pukehina.
Mr McKenzie and his son were moving stock across Old Coach Rd yesterday when a car crashed into Mr McKenzie.
Police wouldlike to speak with a woman who drove through the crash scene shortly after the incident and who stopped and spoke with persons at the scene.
