A man has died after being struck by a vehicle on Old Coach Rd, Pukahina. 21 April 2015 Bay of Plenty Times Photograph by John Borren

The name of the farmer who died when he was hit by a car while moving stock has been released.

He was Ian Robert McKenzie, 75, of Pukehina.

Mr McKenzie and his son were moving stock across Old Coach Rd yesterday when a car crashed into Mr McKenzie.

Police would like to speak with a woman who drove through the crash scene shortly after the incident and who stopped and spoke with persons at the scene.

This person is urged to contact Senior Sergeant Ian Campion at Tauranga Police Station on 5774302.
