Long gone are the days I had to study for my end-of-year examinations but I remember them well.
I remember feeling excited, nervous and stressed, while also staying up extra late doing last-minute cramming out of fear I had studied the wrong things or not done enough.
In recent yearsI've spoken to many students at this time of year who seem to be well prepared for their end-of-year exams - a skill I hadn't quite grasped at their age with my unfavourable ability to overthink everything.
Today, we talk student Lilli Scott - a student who seems to be well prepared and is sharing with her peers her tips to get through this important time.
Lilli is one of 9155 students from around the Bay of Plenty region about to sit their end-of-year exams, with a total of 446 of those students also sitting one or more Scholarship papers.
Scholarship Drama is the first exam, marking the beginning of a busy few weeks for students around Bay of Plenty and beyond.
NCEA (Levels 1-3) and Scholarship examination sessions run from today until Friday, December 1, and no doubt the next few weeks will an exciting and nerve-racking experience for many.
Students will no doubt be looking forward to being able to celebrate the end of their school year when they end - but until then, good luck to you all!
