Motorists travelling between Tauranga and Papamoa along State Highway 2 can expect delays this week as work continues on the Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road.
Speed restrictions of 50km/h and traffic management including lane closures will be in place between the Te Maunga roundabout and Mangatawa interchange from today, saida statement from the New Zealand Transport Agency.
The Agency said there will be delays of approximately five minutes long and urge motorists to allow extra time when travelling along that route.
Wednesday April 22 between 9am and 5pm: The westbound lanes heading to Tauranga will be reduced to one lane and moved to one side.
A 50km/h temporary speed restriction will be in place.
