Emergency services are responding to a two-car crash in Tauranga.

Police received multiple calls about the crash at the intersection of Fraser St and Thirteenth Ave just before 6pm.

A St John media spokeswoman said one ambulance wa at the scene and two people were being treated for minor injuries.

She said it was unlikely they would be taken to hospital.
