Driver escapes uninjured after car crashes into tree in Pāpāmoa

The driver of a car which crashed into a tree in Pāpāmoa Beach overnight has walked away with no injuries.

A Police media spokeswoman said police were called to the crash on Pāpāmoa Beach Rd between Palm Beach Rd and Stellar Place at 12.10am on Friday.

The car went off the road but the driver was uninjured, the spokeswoman said.
