The Baywide Cup match-up at the Tauranga Domain was won by Element IMF Cadets over Carrus Mount Maunganui. Cadets batted first and were 67 for the loss of one wicket, before the Mount bowlers grabbed the momentum.

When Sean Davey fell for his side's top score of 47, the home team were at 107/6 and in desperate trouble. Somehow, they managed to scramble through to a modest 130 all out.

Northern Knights skipper Daniel Flynn, making a rare appearance for Mount Maunganui, reached 30 before being dismissed.

While Ben Musgrave posted a hard-fought 41 not out, wickets tumbled at the other end, and the visitors were bundled out for just 117 to hand Cadets a13-run win. ND spin bowler Jono Boult and Lou Brook took three wickets each.

New World Te Puke easily accounted for Bay of Plenty Indians at the Te Puke Domain, after bowling them out for 72. Jonty Grigson took 3/12, while Christian MacDonald and Tom Wakelin took two wickets apiece. Te Puke lost four wickets on their way to victory.

Cooney Lees Morgan Tauranga Boys' College proved too strong for Bayleys Central at TBC headquarters. The home side posted 188/9, with Tim Clarke scoring 92, while Denym Clarke chipped in with a handy 27. The visitors' reply stuttered and they were eventually bowled out for 129, to give Tauranga Boys' a solid victory. Gurwinder Singh, Kamal Bains and Dan Elyashiv took the Central wickets.

After three rounds of the Baywide Cup, where the winner also takes the Bay of Plenty spot in the ND Club Championships, Cadets and Te Puke lead the way with unbeaten records, with Greerton lurking in third place.
