A woman is trapped in their car after a crash outside a Tauranga school this morning.
A car and truck were involved in a collision on Windsor Rd, Bellevue, about 7.55am.
Head of Western Bay of Plenty road police Senior Sergeant Ian Campion said people had been injured, including a
person who was trapped in their vehicle.
The road has been closed as police, firefighters and ambulance staff worked to clear the scene and treat the patients, he said.
Mr Campion said the closure will affect the section of Windsor Rd between Anne Rd and Canberra Pl. He said it was likely to be reopened by about 8.45am but students heading to Otumoetai College were encouraged to use the northen access to the school instead of Windsor Rd.
