Serious injuries after SH29A Tauranga crash, traffic backed up

Police are at the scene of the crash.

Three people have been injured after a crash on State Highway 29A, in Tauranga.

Emergency services were called to the crash, near the Oropi Rd roundabout at 1.45pm.

Police said a vehicle had hit a light pole.

“One person has sustained serious injuries and two other moderate.

“Traffic management is in place.”

Google’s Live Traffic reporting showed traffic was backed up from the roundabout to the roundabout at Poike Rd.
