People travelling on State Highway 29 are being advised to expect delays as a crash has been reported on the Kaimai Range.

An NZ Transport Agency traffic alert says the northbound lanes are currently blocked.

”Please follow the directions of emergency services and expect delays.”

A SunLive reader said emergency services were at the scene of the crash.

They saidy one vehicle was in the middle of the road and another was off to the side.

”It looks like a car and ute have collided.

”People should expect delays.”

A police spokesperson said there was a two-vehicle crash on SH29 and the road is partially blocked.
