Council hold special ceremony to bless new boat

Save Bay of Plenty Regional Council will be holding a special ceremony to bless their new boat Moko.
The service would be held this Friday, October 28.
The new vessel would help Council's maritime team with navigation safety on the water.
The name, Moko, acknowledged the dolphin that frequented Te Awanui
Tauranga Harbour as well as all marine taonga.
The blessing would take place at the Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club at 10.00am.
