Commercial building fire in Gate Pā, Tauranga

Fire and Emergency is treating a building fire in Gate Pa as suspicious.

A commercial building caught fire in Tauranga today.

Crews were called to the “well involved” fire at a building in Gate Pā shortly before midday, a Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said.

Three fire engines were sent to the scene. Crews extinguished the fire and left about an hour later.
