Car rolls on highway between Tauranga and Rotorua

A car has rolled between Tauranga and Rotorua and is partially blocking a lane.

Emergency services were called to the crash on State Highway 36 between Taumata Rd and Oropi Rd at 7.27am.

A police media spokeswoman said the car had rolled and was partially blocking the southbound lane.

It was not clear what injuries there were if any, but the occupants of the car were already out of the vehicle.
