Emergency services are responding to a vehicle crash in Te Puna, Western Bay of Plenty.

“At around 7.30am emergency services received reports of a single vehicle crash on Te Puna Road,” police said.

“The vehicle has crashed into a power pole.”

Hato Hone St John was notified at 7.37am and responded with one ambulance.

“Our crew assessed and treated one patient in a minor condition at the scene.”

Powerco are reporting a power outage to 75 properties in the Te Puna Rd and Armstrong Rd area. The power cut occurred at 7.57am and estimated restoration time is 12pm.
