Car and truck crash in Maungatapu, Tauranga

Police were called to the crash at 9.20am.

A car and truck have crashed on Maungatapu Rd in Tauranga.

Police were called to the scene on Maungatapu Rd between State Highway 29a and Sunset Cres about 9.20am

A police media spokeswoman said there were no initial reports of injuries.

Firefighters were called to help with scene protection.
