THURSDAY:
What: BOP Dance Festival 2011
Where: Baycourt
Time: 7pm
This non-competitive festival aims to support and encourage the teaching of contemporary/creative dance in Bay schools. School dance groups will create rehearse and perform 5-7 minute dance based on the theme "Kaleidoscope". Adult $20 Child $10 Family $50. Tickets from Baycourt TicketDirect ph 577

What: Focus On Freedom - a free public forum exploring MMP and the rise of global democracy.
Where: Otumoetai Primary School Hall.
Time: 7pm.
Guest Speakers: Keith Locke MP - Green party spokesman for Foreign Affairs, Human Rights; Dr Rebecca Sargisson - psychologist, post-war recovery programmes in Afghanistan; Margaret Taylor - activism support manager Amnesty International Aotearoa NZ. FRIDAY:
What: Cry from the heart presentation.
Where: Wesley Parish Centre.
Time: 7:30-9pm.

SATURDAY:
What: Bay of Plenty Smokefreerockquest 2011.
Where: Baycourt.
Time: 8pm.
Smokefreerockquest is New Zealand's only nationwide, live, original music, youth event. Playoffs in afternoon with the top eight bands in the final at 8pm. The $20 ticket price covers the event in the afternoon and evening. For more information visit www.sfrq.co.nz. Tickets from Ticket Direct or at the door.
What: Whodunit Mystery Dinner.
Where: Rosie O'Grady's Irish Pub.
Time: 7-10pm.

What: Coast Care Planting Day - Pukehina.
Where: Meet at the surf club to help replant the dunes at Dotterel Point.
Time: 10am-12:30pm.

MONDAY:
What: Tauranga Friends of the Libraries monthly meeting.
Where: Tauranga Library.
Time: 7.30pm.
Speaker: Ian Mcdonald. Topic: On Managing City Services. All welcome. $2 donation. Supper provided. Use side door.
What: Salsa and Cuban Salsa dance class.
Where: Otumoetai Action Centre.
Time: From 6:45pm onwards.

TUESDAY:
What: Who Does That?
Where: Baycourt.
Time: Evening performances 7pm July 5-7. Tickets $16 Adult, $10 Child 13yrs & under. Matinee performances 12pm July 6-7. All ages $8.
