Tauranga's O'Dea brothers have lost their beach volleyball semi-final, pushing them out of contention for a gold or silver Commonwealth Games medal.

Canada won tonight's game 2-0, meaning Ben and Sam O'Dea will play England for bronze tomorrow.

The O'Deas have already beaten the English team of Chris Gregory and Jake Sheaf in pool play 2-1.
