A Tauranga woman serving four months' home detention for cannabis dealing has been arrested and charged with possession of cannabis for supply after police searched her home on Tuesday.

Michelle McVeigh, 37, who denied the charge when she appeared in Tauranga District Court yesterday, was refused bail by Judge Alayne
Wills.

McVeigh was granted home detention on April 29, which was due to expire on August 28.

Police allege they found 43g of cannabis head in McVeigh's house, $280 cash - some of which was in $20 notes - empty coffee sachets and two large empty coffee sacks, some of which had cannabis residue inside.

McVeigh is due back in court on September 19.
