A cyclist has been injured in a collision with a car in Pāpāmoa.

A police spokeswoman said police and St John Ambulance were called to the intersection of Gloucester Rd and Sandhurst Drive at 1pm.

A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said a patient was transported to Tauranga Hospital with minor injuries.
