Police release name of Ruahihi canal crash victim

Police have released the name of the man who died after a his truck entered Ruahihi Canal on July 22.

He was John Riki Paul, aged 66, from Tauranga.

Police said their thoughts were with Paul's family and loved ones.

Inquiries into the circumstances were ongoing.
